Canadian actress Diana Bentley was born in London, Canada as Diana Margaret Susan Bentley. Before making her debut in the film industry, she took English literature classes at the University of Toronto and later went to the London Academy of Musical and Dramatic Arts(LAMDA) to learn classical acting. Upon graduating from LAMDA, she joined the Soulpepper Theatre Company, where she appeared in two films A Month in the Country and Our Town.
