Santiago learned to be well adapted to whatever environment he grew up in. He also learned to speak in different accents and became fluent in Spanish, French, and Italian.
Career Journey
As a child, Santiago was interested in soccer and played it enthusiastically while he was in England. Playing semi-pro soccer and even becoming captain in his high school, he thought of becoming a professional soccer player.
After high school, Santiago studied Psychology at the Diego Portales University in Santiago, Chile, until he was fascinated to become an actor during 2000.
So, Santiago attended London’s prestigious Central St. Martin's College of Art & Design’s Drama Centre London studying under renowned tutors like Yat Malmgren and Christopher Fettes. During his three years at drama school, Santiago did many unusual jobs like pulling a rickshaw and a party planner.
Eventually, during his final year before graduating in 2003, he began to get roles in several TV and Theatre projects, which led him to achieve his passion for acting.

The heartthrob couple met for the first time in London, while Santiago was studying acting. Soon they decided to get married and tied the knot in 2003.

After marriage, the couple struggled for years to have a baby; Anna even suffered two miscarriages. Hopelessly, they had even decided to be a childless couple.

But, the hope of glory arose in the life of Santiago and his sweetheart, Anna. Eventually, Anna became pregnant with their first child. And, luckily, the twosome got blessed with one child: a boy named Kilian Emiliano in April 2016.
