American actor Enrique Ricardo Murciano was born on July 9 of the year 1973 in Miami, Florida. He is best known for playing FBI specialist Danny Taylor in the CBS riddle show called ‘Without a Trace.' He played that role from 2002 to 2009. Murciano was brought up in Miami, Florida. His nationality is American, and ethnicity is white. His mother used to work in a radio station, and his father was a musician. His parents got divorced when he was 10, and he started living with his mother.

Murciano went to Christopher Columbus High School for his studies. He then went to Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana.  Previously he studied at New England School of Law which is in Boston, Massachusetts, for a time. But to pursue his acting career, he left his studies. He then thought of beginning his career as an actor and moved to Los Angeles, California. He made his feature film debut in the 1997 action film named Speed 2: Cruise Control alongside actress Sandra Bullock. 

Murciano first appeared in the CBS police procedural drama called CSI: Crime Scene Investigation in October of 2009 in season 10`s episode 4 which was titled "Coup de Gráce" which is French for "stroke of mercy." There he played the role of Det. Carlos Moreno from LVPD vice division.

In April of the year 2011, Murciano appeared in a recurring role in the CBS police procedural drama namedNCIS as agent Ray Cruz of CIA.  There he appeared in episode 20 of season 8 which was titled "Two-Faced" and in the eighth-season finale titled "Pyramid."

Murciano again returned to CSI: Crime Scene Investigation in April of 2012 reprising his role of Det. Carlos Moreno. There he appeared in episode 20 of season 12 which was titled "Altered Stakes." He also appeared in the twelfth-season finale titled "Homecoming," season 13: episode 3 titled "Wild Flowers" and in the thirteenth-season premiere titled "Karma to Burn."

Murciano had a recurring role in the short-lived ABC supernatural drama called 666 Park Avenue as Dr. Todd Scott Evans in October 2012. He appeared in the fifth episode which was titled "A Crowd of Demons," the sixth episode titled "Diabolic" and the seventh episode called "Downward Spiral."

Murciano also co-starred in the science fiction 3-D film Dawn of the Planet of the Apes which is the 2014 sequel to Rise of the Planet of the Apes. 

In 2006, he made the People Magazine ranking of "The Sexiest Men Alive" in the rank #7.

Murciano was in a relationship and was dating English model and actress Lily Cole from 2008 to 2011. There were rumors of them getting married which didn`t turn out to be true. Previously he had Molly Sims as his girlfriend for one year in 2002. But they got split shortly. Murciano is not married but has been linked with many celebrities. He was also once rumored to be a gay and had a male partner, but it was a false rumor which he clarified in an interview.
