David Cubitt is married to Julia Molnar, the owner of an Isola Bella children’s wear store. David and his wife are blessed with six children, five sons, and one daughter.

Though David appeared in several television commercials as a child, he began his professional acting career while attending university. He worked on a cable music video show called Night Vision, where he performed in a comedic wrap around the segments. After doing his first show, he eventually fell in love with acting.
He then started to study acting full time until he was kicked out from the theater, where David was told he couldn’t act and would never work. But soon afterward, he landed a leading role in the feature film Alive: The Miracle of the Andes, which also starred Ethan Hawke. The film recounted the story of the Uruguayan rugby team who were stranded in the Andes after a plane crash. David was cast as one of the survivors in the film, and it sparked his career. However, his first screen acting debut was in a 1987 episode of 21 Jump Street.
