American actor and voice actor Charlie Schlatter is best known for playing the role of Dr. Jesse Travis, the student of Dr. Mark Sloan, portrayed by an American actor Fick Van Dyke in the CBS series Diagnosis: Murder (1995-2001).
Other than that, his other acclaimed roles include 18 Again! (1988), Bright Lights, Big City (1988), The Delinquents (1989), Ferris Bueller (1990), and A.T.O.M.: Alpha Teens on Machines (2005-2007).

Charlie Schlatter first got his start in acting during his high school, when he auditioned for the school play Oliver, henceforth, receiving the leading part of Oliver Twist. Later at college, he starred in numerous plays and eventually became a skilled musician, played guitar, drums, and piano and also wrote songs. In 1987, Charlie's life had a turning point after he was spotted by a casting director who asked him to audition for the role in Bright Lights, Big City.
A year later, he played the character of Johnny Wole in the film Heartbreak Hotel. In a short period of time, he showcased his brilliant acting skills and also received a lot of praise from the critics.
