Bio And Family Life: Grew Up With Drug Dealer Father

Tony, age 37, was born in Miami to parents Anthony Edward Dokoupil and Ann. His childhood resembled more of a roller coaster ride.

When he was seven years old, his mother used to take him on a road trip from Florida to Albuquerque, where he bought fossils and visited the Petrified Forest National Park.

But later, he learned the real purpose of that trip; the reason was to find drug money that had been stashed away.

Up until nine years old, Tony enjoyed a luxury condo and private school with grandchildren of President George H.W. Bush. He thought his father was a real estate businessman, who provided the family with a lovely house, money and fancy vacation in the Caribbean.

However, with the sway of time, Tony knew his father's profession. Before, his 10th birthday, his father Anthony's addiction to drugs escalated and became out of control, which resulted in the loss of their income and lifestyle.

His father, who was wild and drug addicted, left his family. Tony was raised by his mother and later moved to Maryland as per wiki. Anthony was a graduate school dropout who made and lost millions smuggling and selling tons of marijuana for more than a decade in the United States. Tony and his father got reunited in the year 2014.

Tony enrolled in The George Washington University School of Business in the year 1999. He graduated with a double-majoring in marketing and communications in the year 2003.

Tony, who stands at the decent height, attended Columbia University and earned his master degree in the year 2004. In the year 2005, he graduated with a Master’s in American studies earned a fellowship towards a Ph.D. in media studies.

On 28th January 2017, the couple got engaged when Tony finally popped up the question in New York. Due to the busy schedule of Katy, Tony had to delay his proposal. After the much-awaited engagement, the couple has arranged a swift ceremony, and you won’t believe where.

The couple planned the wedding in the middle of the desert in Utah. Yes, you read it right. Unlike any other wedding ceremonies with flowers and eccentric location, the pair decided to share their vows in the desert with the presence of only Earth and nothing else.

One of the friends of the couple said that they had picked a place where there was no cell services and no one around to talk about politics. There was no setup, no altar but just the rocks.

Subsequently, the couple got married on the last weekend of October 2017. The pictures of their one-of-a-kind wedding haven’t surfaced in the media. The couple lives a low-key lifestyle and doesn’t make any public appearances.
