Summer Knowles is known in the media because of her work as an anchor on news channel named WESH2 News. Over the years, Summer also has put in hundreds of hours of community service working with organizations like NAACP, the Chamber of Commerce, Urban League and 100 black men.

Summer, one month after her wedding on 20 September 2017 revealed that she was pregnant with her first baby on-air on WESH2 News. On 1 October 2017, she shared a picture on Instagram flaunting her baby bump.

The Smith couple finally welcomed their baby girl, Sade Simone Smith in the family on 25 February 2018.

Summer Knowles ages 36 years old and celebrates her birthday on every 24 January. She was born in 1982. Her birth sign is Aquarius. She was born in the military family and was an excellent athlete during her high school days.

Summer stood out as a Field athlete and earned herself a full scholarship to attend the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, NC. Although she was a perfect athletic, Summer was graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Journalism.

Summer started her career in Charlotte, North Carolina, where she worked as an Overnight Producer and a News Writer for NBC News Channel before landing her first on-air reporter in Charlottesville. After Charlottesville, she moved on to KTVI as a reporter in St. Louis, KSLA News 12 in Shreveport and WPEC in West Palm Beach, where she anchored the morning and afternoon newscast.

After working in WPEC for a while in January 2015, Summer joined WESH 2 News as a weekend reporter. While reporting in this channel she scored an interview with former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush in 2016 about his decision to explore the possibility for president. After that, she was promoted to co-anchor of WESH2 News. There She also reported on the release of Alan Gross and the US' intent to normalize uS/Cuba relations.
