Later, she worked as a freelance national correspondent for CBS Newspath. She also served as a producer of Fox News Channel from August 2008 to February 2011.

Autria Godfrey officially tied her wedding knot with American exceptionalist Paul Lindsay after a five-year gap since parting ways with her ex-husband.
The marriage ceremony took place on 3 June 2017 at the Dumbarton House, located in Washington DC. Autria looked stunning in her white dress and was equally supported by Paul, who looked charming as always in the black suit.
The wedding bells for Autria rang a while ago in November 2016. Scoot Taylor, ABC7’s investigative reporter, congratulated Autria for getting engaged via his twitter status posted on 28 November 2016.

Before Paul, Autria shared marriage with her fellow anchor, Scott Thurman.
The couple first met while Autria was working as an intern. After a few years of dating, they finally decided to share the wedding vows in 2008.
However, the married couple could not keep peace with one another for long. Their happy married life turned down to pieces when they finally decided to move apart from one another in February 2012.
After a year, Autria was hired to replace her ex-husband as a lead anchor for the Good Morning Washington programme and ABC7 News @ Noon.
Autria Godfrey Faces Intoxication Charge
Autria was once arrested for public intoxication and trespassing in February 2017. The charge came on her after she was alleged of getting into a fight in a bar.
According to the police, Autria was asked to leave the venue after she started fighting. However, she immediately returned after going out for a while, which forced the officers to arrest her.
It was not entirely clear what happened that night at the bar; however, according to the report from one person, she began jawing at the police, which led to a definite charge.

Speaking to the matter, Shamia Holloway, the WJLA’s community relations director said that the station would never comment on either personnel or personal issues.
After the incident, Godfrey was off the air for several days before resuming her professional work.
