Quick Information

The Filipino-Canadian sportscaster Hazel Mae is one of the prominent tv news personalities in the Canadian tv network, which has been in the business since 2001. Along with doing an extraordinary job as a sportscaster, Mae is also an expert in balancing her personal life as a mother to an eight-year-old child from her marriage with former baseball player Kevin Barker.

Hazel Mae’s Married Life

The broadcasting journalist has been relishing her decade-long married life with the baseball analyst and former baseball player Kevin Baker. And, from the marriage, the couple is blessed with an adorable son, Chase.

Mae is very open about her family to the public and frequently takes to her social media handles to share her treasured family moments. Expressing her love for her husband, Mae doesn’t miss to wish him any valentine’s day or wedding anniversary.

On the occasion of the 2021 Valentine’s day, Mae took to Instagram to share a selfie with her baby-daddy, who appeared funny with his big-eyes-tongue-out expression. Likewise, reflecting on her wedding day on the occasion of her wedding anniversary, Mae posted a throwback picture where she wore a beautiful sweetheart-necked sparkly white dress, and Kevin looked dashing in his black and white suit.

Not just Mae, but Kevin’s Instagram is also flooded with such special family moments. He dedicated a recent ‘gram upload to his wife on mother’s day and praised Mae- ‘the center of his universe’ for being a wonderful mother to their baby boy.

Moreover, the proud mama’s ‘gram is filled with the mother-son posts, whether it be the adorable selfies or teaching her son to play football on a casual fine day. Her immense love for her son reflects through her social media in every way.

Besides, she also made few headlines for taking care of her baby and herself during her pregnancy with some light exercises. Sharing her pregnancy experience, she once said

Being active seems to have made pregnancy in my 40s wonderfully smooth. I feel beautiful and I can take on the world.

Besides, Mae probably won’t have any more kids as she has reached the age of fifty-one already. But their family of three already seems so flawless with all the love they shower for each other.

However, while the couple enjoyed their best life, a false rumor that claimed Mae and the former general manager at Toronto Maple Leaf, Brain Burke’s affair, almost defamed her. Speaking against the false claim, Mae supported Burke on his lawsuit against the accountable lie spreader.

Having not found any proven evidence of their affair's claim, the rumor settled down, and Mae’s personal life remained unaffected.
