Quick Information

People in this world earn their reputations through different works, and when your work constantly demands the public interaction like in the job of media, one is sure to be a public figure soon. The same has been the story of Shereen Nanjiani. On the top of that, being the first Scots Asian presenter brought her the fame right at her side.

Shereen has her roots that go well beyond to Pakistan and England. This is because of her father; an eye surgeon came from Pakistan while her mother, a teacher, belonged from England. In this respect, she beams with an attractive personality of having mixed ethnicity.

Before getting her hands tied up with any real job, she worked on Hospital Radio Paisley for a small amount of time in the year of 1970. Her job at that time was to read the news cuttings that she had gathered during the week. Then in 1983, she landed a new job of a trainee journalist on STV. It was in 1987 that she was given to present her first bulletin in her another colleague’s place. Since then she has hosted many programs for STV like religious affair series Eikon and Secret Scotland. She left her job with STV on 5 May 2006. About this, she told in an interview to Scottish press that she was looking forward to other exciting projects away from living television.

Then in the June of 2006, she switched to the BBC and made her debut as a radio presenter. Her radio career at BBC Scotland began through a program called Scotland Live which she presented every Friday. Nowadays she delivers a show named Shereen which gives a live topical news and current affairs program on BBC Radio Scotland.

Regarding the personal life of this forty-four-year-old lady, one who is curious to know about her relationship status through the modern means like the internet is inevitably bound to be disappointed because there is little, in fact almost nil information on the web if you are relying upon it. So could she be married? If so, who is her husband? Or the other possibility could be her being a single after undergoing a divorce. She might even have a love partner now. The answer to all these questions remains a mystery until she opens her mouth. We can only hope that she opens to the media soon. In such scenario, the rumors about her being a lesbian are also normal.
