American police officer Sarah Lacina rose to fame after competing on the twenty-eighth series of the American reality show Survivor: Cagayan in 2011. In the show, she came in 11th place.

Sarah Lacina joined the 28th season of Survivor, where the theme of the season was "Brawn vs. Brains vs. Beauty." Being a police officer, she joined the "Brawn" tribe (Aparri) and immediately recognized another cop Tony Vlachos in her tribe. However, Tony denied being a cop upon Sarah's confrontation.

Later, Tony told the truth, and Sarah and Tony formed an alliance called Cops-R-Us. Their tribe won the first four immunity challenges, but soon the tribe got swap only Sarah remaining on the tribe. Later, Sarah joined Brains and finished in 11th place and became the first member of the jury.

Sarah made a return for the 34th season, Survivor: Game Changers, and was placed on the Nuku tribe. On Day 7, Sarah, along with her fellow members Cirie, Andrea Boehlke, Ozzy Lusth, and Zeke Smith, along with original Mana member Troyzan Robertson were switched to newly formed third tribe Tavua. But the tribe also got dissolved, and Sarah switched back to Nuku. 

Eventually, Sarah ended up being the sole Survivor and winner of the 34th season. She again came back as a contestant on the 40th season, Survivor: Winners at War.

Sarah Lacina's Birthday & Bio

Sarah Lacina was born on 9 July 1983 in Muscatine, Lowa, United States. She attended Muscatine High School. Later, she enrolled at Wartburg College in nearby Waverly and earned a Bachelor's degree in Social Work.

After her college, Sarah moved to Cedar Rapids to become a police officer. In 2006, she joined the Cedar Rapids Police Department, where she met a co-worker named Tom Grubb. He got her into boxing and mixed martial arts, and in 2010, Sarah competed in her first professional MMA fight.

Sarah Lacina is married to a fellow police officer, Wyatt Wardenburg.

While she was competing on Survivor the second time, Sarah and her husband got engaged. Her husband even appeared on the show during the loved ones visit and on the finale when Sarah was crowned Sole Survivor. During the show, Sarah also revealed that she was six months pregnant. Later in an interview with the Muscatine Journal, her mother advised her that she was playing for a family now and not playing for herself.
