Sarah-Jane Mee [Sky News Presenter]: Boyfriend, Engaged, Family & Facts

Sarah-Jane Mee is a British journalist and TV personality, who is working as a presenter on the TV channel, Sky News. She joined the channel in January 2008, and since then, she has co-presented the show, Cricket AM on Sky Sports, What's The Story, and co-hosted Sunrise program.  

Previously, she has also worked for various programs at ITV Central (joined October 2002). Likewise, she anchored the pan-regional program, Soccer Monday, presented the news program, Central Tonight, and also served as the main presenter for the channel's popular weekly, Central Soccer Night Show.

In addition to that, Sarah-Jane has also worked on the radio. She hosted the Ed James Breakfast Show on Heart FM in 2006 for three months and joined the show as a regular in January 2007.

Sarah-Jane Mee was born on 10 July 1979 in England to father, Tom, and mother, Lynda. Her parents worked as kitchen designers and builders. 

She grew up in Essex with her younger sister, Victoria Mee, who is a forensic psychologist. Currently, Victoria works as a District Manager/ Independent Consultant at Arbonne, an international multi-level marketing company that sells products, including cosmetics and nutrition.

Sarah is Convent-school educated. After finishing her A-levels, she enrolled at Manchester University and graduated in English language and Literature. Furthermore, she also completed her master's degree in Public Relations and Government Affairs at the university.

Dating Boyfriend; Engagement Details

Sarah-Jane Mee is engaged to Ben Richardson, who is a partner at Stepladder Group. 

The couple was first introduced to each other in 2018 by their mutual friend Autumn Phillips, the wife of Queen Elizabeth II's grandson, Peter Phillips.

After sixteen months of dating, they got engaged just a day before Christmas in 2019. Ben popped the question to Sarah-Jane when both were attending a Christmas party hosted by Piers Morgan.  

Children; Pregnant?

Sarah and her fiancè are expecting their first child together—she is 18 weeks pregnant as of 30 January 2020. 

Before beginning her relationship with Ben, Sarah-Jane was criticized for not settling with children though she had five godchildren, including the son of Sky Sports presenter, Natalie Pinkham.

Speaking about her opinion on getting married and having children with DailMail on 4 December 2016, she said:

“I think people concentrate too much on what they haven’t got rather than enjoying what they have. It’s fine not to be in a relationship, and I want other single women out there to know that. I’m not just going to settle for any guy. Of course, I want to find The One, but I’m not panicking about it. Right now I’ve got the dream job and I’m loving life.”

Now, Sarah is eagerly awaiting her soon-to-be baby—often, she gives the glimpses of her growing baby bump.
