The news of the divorce come as a shock to the EastEnders cast and in an interview with Mirror magazine on 11 February 2010, one of the close friends of Perry told them that they just ran out of love. They had a series of heart-to-hearts and decided to call it a day. No one else was involved.
They further said that they were determined to stay friends and staying positive and their families were rallying around.
