The Fox 29 News show Good Day Philadelphia anchor Mike Jerrick, who has two wonderful daughters, still misses his wife Joy, who passed away a long time ago. Time and again, in memory of his beloved late wife, the news anchor takes to social handles and reminisces on his time spent with her.

Jerrick was lucky enough to have found his love at a young age and start a family together. While all was going great, he lost the love of his life after she gave birth to their two children.

Moreover, the proud father has been blessed with three grandchildren from his daughters, whom he loves dearly.

After his wife’s death, he mostly dedicated himself to looking after his daughters and never remarried. But in 2014, the news of Jerrick’s engagement with his fiance Shelda stirred up the media.
As per a source, the anchor made the big revelation to the public on his morning show. He also mentioned how he made the big move that very morning at Grand Central Station. However, there hasn't been any information on the couple’s wedding or relationship status since they got engaged.
On the other hand, most recently, while Jerrick and his fellow co-hosts discussed the superstar Jennifer Lopez’s ex-lovers, he too brought out some memories from his past. The 7--year-old anchor connected with one of his exes, Lynda, on the show.
Seemingly on great terms now, Jerrick and Lynda discussed their past dating history, and Lynda recalls how brutally heartbroken she was when she had to break up with Jarrick. When asked about how Jerrick was in a relationship and how would she grade him on that basis, Lynda replied,
I would give him an A. He is a very attentive guy. He is very generous of spirit and with his time. As long as you don’t interfere with his basketball watching.
Hearing that, the studio echoed with laughter. Lynda further added that the couple split because Jerrick prioritized his career over his relationship. Now, we certainly know why he is one of the prominent news personalities in the country.
Jerrick’s Journalism Career and Net Worth
Jerrick is most known for his news programs oThe Morning Show with Mike and Juliet, DaySide, Fox & Friends, and Good Day Philadelphia.
During his decades-long stint as a journalist, he once faced a week-long suspension in 2017 when he used an explicit word on-air offending Donald Trump’s advisor Kellyanne Conway. Later, apologizing for using the offensive word on national television, he made his return to Fox 29 after a week.
Not only that but, Jarrick was also pointed out in the past by many for his sexist remarks on women and making women around him uncomfortable with his inappropriate gestures. This issue was even mentioned in an episode of John Oliver’s show.
Regardless, the Good day Philidelphia host continues as an anchor at Fox 29 and probably receives an annual salary of more than 75 thousand dollars as per a report. However, his net worth remains unknown.
