Everybody knows the beauty with brain Maria Shriver, who is an American journalist, author, and former first lady of California. Along with being famous for her work, Maria is also widely known for being the niece of the 35th president of the United States, John F. Kennedy.
Maria Shriver Married, Husband
Maria was introduced to her ex-husband, Arnold Schwarzenegger at a charity tennis tournament being held at her mother's house by a fellow journalist Tom Brokaw. Maria and Arnold turned from friends to a couple after they began dating shortly. After getting engaged, the couple ended up getting married on April 26, 1986, Hyannis, Massachusetts, at St. Frances Xavier Roman Catholic Church. Three years later, they welcomed their first child Katherine in 1989. They also welcomed their other three children Christina, Patrick, and Christopher in 1991,1993 and 1997 respectively.

The couple was living a happy matrimonial life until Maria found out about the housekeeper's child whom Arnold had been caring for her for 14 years. Maria was heartbroken and filed for a divorce immediately. She then moved out of their house in 2011 and started living separately. Even though the divorce was filed around eight years ago, Maria and Arnold are still legally married and now might also hold a Guinness World Record for the most protracted divorce filed ever in the history. As of now, Maria and Arnold date other people and have no hard feelings for each other.

Maria Shriver was born on 6 November 1955. She was raised in Chicago which lies in Illinois of United States of America by her parents, Eunice Kennedy Shriver, an activist mother, and Sargent Shriver, a politician father. Maria comes from German and Irish descent. She went to Westland Middle School and Manhattan Ville College for her education. After attending two years of community college, Maria got her Bachelor of Arts degree from Georgetown University.
Maria Shriver Career
Maria has had an incredible career. During her early days, she worked as an anchor for KYW-TV from the year 1978 to 1985. After working there, she moved to The CBS network. She worked here for The CBS Morning News as a co-anchor. After working at CBS, she transferred to NBC Network. She used to work for Weekend Today as a co-anchor from 1986 to 1990. Maria moved to NBC Nightly News and worked here as Saturday anchor. She also worked as a correspondent and contributing anchor for Dateline NBC. After being the first lady of California, Maria began leading the California Governor & First Lady's Conference on Women where she held several events covering the topic of woman empowerment, education, and rights.
