Lee McKenzie, one of the most prominent British broadcast journalists and sports presenters, is recognized for several major coverages of F1, W Series, and Rugby.

While she has received reasonable attention for her brilliance in broadcasting, her love life also remains a topic of interest for several viewers. However, McKenzie has never mentioned being involved in a romantic relationship to this date.

Does Lee McKenzie Have A Boyfriend?

Despite the transparency of her professional life, her personal life is quite unreachable. Not having revealed any information on her love life, it’s assumable that she hasn’t been married yet.

Similarly, McKenzie’s social media presence also somewhat hints towards the fact that she might be single. For instance, on an Instagram post of 2019 on Valentine’s day, she shared a video telling how she spent the day working with her producer and cameraman and later went to dinner with them.

Moreover, she has never been rumored to have had a partner. Apart from her social media uploads with her close work colleagues and posts on her work events, there is fairly no update on her relationship status.

McKenzie’s Family Details and Personal Bio

The sports presenter, who reached the age of 43, celebrating her birthday on 1 December last year, is the daughter of Bob Mckenzie.

Like Mckenzie, her father also served as a sport and motorsport journalist, mainly covering motorsport and rugby. Besides, she once shared her father’s book on her social media handle, which he wrote about the 1992 F1 World champion, Nigel Mansell.

Certainly, her father must have been an inspiration to her in pursuing a career in journalism. The horse lover, a World Horse Welfare patron, was raised in Scotland and embraced Scottish ethnicity.

Although the further details on her parents are yet unrevealed, it is known that her mother has a hearing loss on one ear due to tinnitus.

McKenzie’s Excelling Professional Life

The Channel 4 sports presenter started her journalism career as a trainee at Border TV at the young age of 15 while taking her education parallelly.

Throughout her career, she has been involved in various media networks of television and radio, including BBC, Channel 4, and BBC Radio 5, covering several major events such as A1 Grand Prix, British Superbike Championship, Formula One, Rugby, and W Series.

For her excellence and contribution to motorsports, McKenzie bagged a Jim Clark Memorial Award in 2007. Besides covering sports events, she has also participated as a co-driver in the World rally Championship.

Having dedicated several years of her career to the F1 race, McKenzie declared considering her retirement from F1 in 2018. However, she continues to present a wide range of sports through BBC and Channel 4.

Given her successful career, she must have been entitled to a hefty net worth and probably receives an annual salary of over 25 thousand dollars as per the average salary scale of a sports presenter in the U.K.
