Quick Information

Kelly Sasso, a reporter at the WTAE network since 2017, relishes a happy married life with her husband Nicholas J. Sasso. But the reporter prefers a quiet life and rarely takes her personal life details to her social media, which leaves her fans more curious about her.

Further, in her recent morning shows, Sasso was noticed not wearing her wedding ring, and this certainly raised interest in the viewers to know if the reporter is still married or divorced.

Is Kelly Sasso Still Married?

Sasso happily got married to Nicholas J. Sasso in 2011. And like Sasso, her husband is also a professionally accomplished man and serves as an attorney at Strassburger McKenna and Gefsky.

The news anchor does not have a child yet and occasionally takes to her social media handle to share a glimpse of her husband. Recently, on May 22, she posted a picture with her husband on Facebook, out for a run for fitness.

So, certainly, the reporter is still married and enjoys her married life. However, seeing her without a wedding ring in her news program might have stirred up curiosity in some viewers. However, Sasso still has her Twitter bio referring to herself as ‘wife,’ and there is no sign of the couple’s separation so far.

Kelly Sasso Career At WTAE

Sasso is renowned for her morning and noon reporting at WTAE, where she has been working since 2017 as a news anchor and traffic reporter.

Being a morning reporter, the reporter rises early and prepares her traffic reports by 5 am and broadcasts in the morning program until 7 am. Soon after, she prepares the story for her noon program and delivers it right on time.

Before joining the network, Sasso worked at Hearst Television station as a prime-time news anchor. While at the station, she got to cover a story on child abuse that tragically caused a 6-year-old girl’s death. The story earned her massive recognition and an Emmy Award in 2016.

Short Bio and Net Worth

The meteorologist, who is probably in her late 30s, is a native of Greensburg and attained her high school at Hempfield High School. Further, she received her higher education from Point Park University as a broadcasting major.

Having a successful career as a reporter, she is assumably entitled to a heft net worth, but the accurate figure is unknown. However, as per a source, she might have an annual earning of around 50 thousand dollars.
