In becoming a sports personality today, it is clear that her childhood days have shaped her present. Her childhood has positively influenced her career path too. We are saying so because right after being in second grade, she started playing basketball. She then played as a point guard at Manasquan High School too. Even in her college days, she played basketball as a point guard for women’s basketball team at Providence College. So it is clear that she was really interested in sports from the beginning and she enjoyed it.

Subsequently, she entered into a broadcast career in 1990 as an analyst for women’s games for her alma mater on the radio. That very year, she worked on Big East Women’s games on television. She has been the lead analyst for covering ESPN’s WNBA. Also since 1997, she has been the original radio and television voice of the New York Liberty.

She was married to Gregg Burke in the year 1989. Gregg was also a television personality. So, initially, it was easy for them to stay in the married life as there was a mutual understanding between them. However, as time passed by, they couldn’t sustain their marriage for long. So after some time, she gave divorce to her husband.

The couple also has two children- daughter Sarah and son Mathew. After her divorce, she has not been seen dating anyone. So, there is no question of her having a boyfriend at recent times. Due to this void in her romantic life, many suspected her to be a lesbian and wondered who her girlfriend is, but seriously, this could be just another false rumor only.

In her wiki, her date of birth has been shared which happens to be 4th November 1965. So her present age is fifty-two. She was born in West Islip, New York but later her family moved to Manasquan, New Jersey, and that is where she was raised.  She was the youngest in her family of eight children.
