Cheryl and her husband have been through a lot in their lives as parents. Their son, Joshua, suffered from atrial septal defect, a severe congenital heart condition that required a major operation, at the age of 6.

As Joshua was going into surgery, Cheryl and the rest of her family wore their brave conquers fear T-shirts. And while he was recovering from surgery, the family was preparing to welcome a new member to their family.
