The pair not only limited their relationship in dating but also got engaged with an 8-carat engagement ring and eventually got married. But their marriage turned south with the sway of time.

Ashton Meem was born in Richmond, Virginia on 6 September 1987 and is 30 years of age. She is the only child born to parents Molly Meem and Lang Meem.
Ashton attended St. Catherine's School in Richmond and went to North Carolina State University. She later subsequently transferred to the University of Georgia from 2006 to 2008 and graduated with a degree in Communications in 2010.
During her first year after graduation, she worked as a Secretary/Media marketing intern at Lewis Media Partners for only three months (June 2008 to August 2008).
After that, she worked as an art buyer at Mckinney for four months (June 2009 to September 2009). Later, she served as an Account executive at Morton Consulting LLC.
Moreover, she settled into a job as Advertising Operations Assistant at American Family Insurance since August 2011. With her hard work as a businesswoman, Ashton has been able to accumulate a net worth of around $4 million.
Two-Year-Marriage Ends, Husband Moves On With Singer
Ashton was married to American Footballer, Russell Wilson.
The pair had first met each other in 2006 when they were both in high school. After knowing one another via few meetings, the couple started dating. Interstingly, Ashton attended three different colleges only to be with Russell as he timely transferred in various schools.
In August 2010, Russell got on one knee and proposed Ashton with 8-carat diamond made engagement ring. Their engagement succeeded with an elaborate surprise that involved the entire hotel staff of the Umstead Hotel and Spa in North Carolina.
After two years of being engaged, the duo exchanged their wedding vows on 14 January 2012 at the Country Club of Virginia and initiated their marital voyage.

However, on 22 April 2014, Ashton and Russell Wilson announced that they were parting their ways. They also disclosed that they had been living separately for months, but decided to make their divorce official then.
Just after Ashton's divorcee with Russell, there were rumors that their marriage broke because Ashton was in an affair with Golden Tate, an American football wide receiver.
However, in an interview with The Cauldron Column Tate addressed the rumors and claimed them to be entirely 'unsubstantiated.' He said that he did not have to do anything with their divorce, and stated that Ashton was his and his girlfriend's best friend.
Since then, Ashton has not been linked with any men. She appeared to be single and focused on her career.
Instead, her ex-husband, Russell has moved on evidently. He started dating singer Ciara after one year of the divorce. The pair got engaged in 2016 after Russell presented a 5-carat diamond to his girlfriend.
Interestingly, when Ashton, who still goes by her married name, found the news, she threw some shade on Ciara’s way. She replaced her Twitter's picture with the photo of her engagement ring given by Russell.
But her reaction didn't cause much effect for Russell as he married Ciara in the same year. The duo as of now has even already welcomed two children.
