As a host of CBS2’s Now Trending segment, Alex Denis is one of New York's only full-time social media reporters. She reports on the most recent trending topics, people, and videos and follows local trends herself.
When she joined WCBS in January 2012, Alex worked as a traffic reporter and fill-in anchor.
She also worked at WZTV in Nashville and WJHG in Panama City as a general assignment reporter and bureau chief. Alex began her career in the media field as a desk assistant at WFTS in Tampa.
Working for different networks and gaining better knowledge of the field and her work, Alex climbed the stairs of success, which undoubtedly helped her earn a hefty amount of salary.

With the unconditional love, support, and friendship she received from her husband, Alex was able to make it through the ten years of her marriage.
She got married to her husband, Tye Reed, on 20th June 2009, and the couple celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary in 2019. If given a chance, Alex stated in her Twitter that she would do it again.

Alex and her husband took their wedding vows before God, their family members, and close friends. Since then, the couple has been through three deployments, loss of friends, eight moves and numerous jobs.
Her husband is a director of operations services at Acreage Holdings. He is an experienced executive with a history of the building and leading high performing teams.

Tye was also a part of an American Army, who fought in wars. He graduated from West Point - The U.S Military Academy. Going through her husband’s war photos, Alex recalls feeling astounded.
Both Alex and Tye have immense respect for each other and is often spotted supporting one another. Tye feels privileged and blessed to be her husband and looks forward to many more decades with Alex.
Now, they are the parents of two amazing and adorable kids.

Alex values and cherishes the moments she shares with her husband and kids. And together, the couple probably teaches their children the real value of life and its core importance.

Born in 1979, Alex Denis celebrates her birthday on 25th December every year. She stands at the tall height of almost 5 feet 10 inches (1.77 meters).
Sometime in 2007, her father suffered a severe stroke. The doctor said that he could never walk or talk again.
But her father didn’t give up and taught himself to walk. And while he can’t speak clearly, Alex understands every word he says. That incident reminds her every day how precious life is.

Alex, age 39, is a proud daughter of her proud parents, who loves her unconditionally. Her mother is from a city called Ogdensburg in St.Lawrence County, New York, United States. Both of her parents are native New Yorkers.
Furthermore, Alex completed her education in magna cum laude at the University of South Florida from The School of Mass Communications.
