Her Bio: Age, Family
American tennis player, Chanda Rubin, was born on 18th February 1976 in Lafayette, Los Angeles.
While growing up, she was raised by her parents, Edward Rubin Sr. (father) and Bernadette Rubin (mother), in a happy family environment.
Professionally, Chanda’s father was a U.S. District Court judge whereas her mother was a teacher, who worked to provide proper upbringing to their children.
Chanda was not the only child of her parents as she was blessed with two friends-like siblings, Edward Jr. (brother) and La Shon Rubin-Wilson (sister). The three siblings shared a very close bond as they were of similar age and had common interests.
However, in 2016, the Rubin family were left shocked and mournful after the untimely demise of Chanda’s brother, Edwards Rubin Jr, at the age of 38.
Edwards Jr. was a professional tennis player like his sister, Chanda, whose cause of death remained “undefined.” But Chanda Rubin kept herself strong during that sad moment, which helped her to move out of sadness soon.
Furthermore, she is actively involved in helping children with charities and funds, which has earned her the honors of Harlem Junior Tennis & Education Program's Shining Star award in 2019
