The picture was not just an ordinary picture. The image featured a Scott's Emulsion bottle with half-filled sand and a cute heart as its cork.

The sand was from the Jersey shore where the couple first exchanged vows twelve years ago.

The actress got married to Bob Brush, a screenwriter, and a producer, on July 27, 2001. It has been reported that the duo dated for almost two years before tieing the knot.
While talking about her married life, Mel quoted,
“I’m married to a wonderful guy. I plan to be married to him forever and ever. I have a great life. I have lovely children. It has absolutely been the best — I’m going to cry — and the most rewarding thing I’ve done in my life. And the best blessing that anyone has ever given to me.”

Mel has married six times to date; her first husband was David Silbergeld. The pair got married in 1978 and unfortunately, their marriage lasted only a year.
