Making to the "Amazon’s Best Books of 2017" and "Entertainment Weekly’s Must List," her books were also chosen by Indie Next Picks, Book of the Month. Furthermore, her books have been featured in People, US Weekly, Entertainment Weekly, Good Morning America, amongst others.
Currently, she works as an essayist in the Los Angeles Times, Glamour, and Marie Claire and as a writer on Hulu’s Resident Advisors.

Career
Fresh off from college, Taylor did not know what she wanted to do. She had some vague ideas and had a tough time, "pinning it down." She went for her first job as a casting assistant in movies, which lasted for three years. Later, she took a desk job at a studio for a few years, again relocating to the tech industry (entertainment company).
In her spare time, she would write books. She knew right away that she loved the process but was not sure if she could make a living from it. So, she went for a job at high school and remained there a little over a year.
During the time, she sold her first book. This made her confident that she could sustain herself as a full-timer. And, so embarked on a new career, since 2012.

Alex has been very supportive of Taylor's career. Speaking to THE IRISH TIMES about her sixth novel, she confessed– it would not have been possible working at the pace she managed after motherhood, had it not been for her Alex.
Together, they have a daughter, born on 3rd May 2017. She is named Liah, an "L" name, in honor of Taylor's grandmother.
For that reason, Taylor also wears an "L" necklace.

Taylor wrote on her Instagram– that on 20th December 2008, Taylor "eloped" with Alex. They bought five-dollar rings and then snuck up to the top of Mulholland Drive with their friend and a wedding officiant and read their vows, which were sincere and scribbled on an index card.
