Born on 9 July 1978 in Los Angeles, Kandee belongs to white American ethnicity. She was raised by her parents, Shannon D., and Dean R. Johnson, and has one younger sister named Tiffany C. Myers.

She first got married at a very young age of 17 and gave birth to her first child named Jordan Johnson at the age of 18. However, she has not revealed the name of her ex-husband to date.

And on 13 September 2015, Kandee said 'Yes' and got engaged to her boyfriend, Michael.
The engaged couple got to know each other through Twitter when Kandee asked her followers for ideas to use on her new video. Finding the right chance, Michael grabbed the opportunity and tweeted back asking Kandee out to dinner for which she replied positively.
