Juanita was born on 13 June 1959 in Chicago, Illinois, United States. She was raised in the South of Chicago by her parents. The 59-year-old started her career as a model when she was just a teenager. She later joined the American Bar Association as a model and an executive secretary as per wiki.

At the age of 25, Juanita landed in the spotlight for her fling with NBA legend Michael Jordan. The couple first met in 1984 at a Chicago Bennigan’s resturant and again at a friend’s party. Soon after the second meeting, they started dating in 1987.
After getting to know each other, the couple got deeper in love. The NBA star proposed Juanita at Nick’s Fish Market, Chicago and got engaged in 1987. But their engagement was later called off. However, at the time Juanita was pregnant with Michael's child, so the couple decided to save their relationship.
She gave birth to their first child, a son named Jeffery Michael Jordan on 18 November 1988. After a year of their son's birth, The duo decided to get married and tied the wedlocks on 2 September 1989 in Las Vegas along with their son.

Their eldest one, Jeffery is a former basketball player. He played for University of Central Florida Knights and the University of Illinois Fighting Illini. He also played high school basketball for Loyola Academy in Wilmette, Illinois.

With support for each other, Juanita was enjoying the smooth sail of her marriage. But her relationship suffered a bump in 2002, and she filed a divorce commending irreconcilable differences in her relationship.
