Raelene Elaine Ebaler Villania, better known as Iya Villania is widely known for her work as a VJ in the music channel, MYX, a Filipino pay TV channel based in Quezon City.
Iya made her first television appearance on the IBC interactive program, Game Channel in 2003. Her work was soon noticed by the management team of GMA Network with her casting in the daytime drama, Walang Hanggan.
Then, her acting journey began as she made her appearance in a vast number of series such as Click, Now and Forever, Love Spell, Only You, Because of You, My Korean Jagiya and many more.

Iya was born on 29 June 1986 in Sydney, Australia to Filipino parents, Ray Villania and Elena Ebaler. Holding Filipino-Australian nationality, she embraces Asian ethnicity.
During her childhood, she grew up watching her father sing karaoke due to which her interest in music began. She was also a member of a Missionary touring band called IRON AND CLAY, which addresses issues in schools and churches like bullying, drunk driving, self-esteem.
Later, Iya moved back to the Philippines where she attended Colegio San Agustin in Makati for her education. Then, she enrolled at De La Salle University in Manila majoring in Psychology and graduated in 2008.
Iya stands at quite a tall height of 5 feet 4 inches (1.63 meters). Even after being a mother of two children, she has well managed her figure.
Recently, Iya dyed her hair and made her hair color a lovely purple, pampering herself with a new look. She mentioned that breastfeeding moms could even dye their hair.
