After dating each other for more than 17 months, Sam finally decided to propose Egypt. And, on 8 June 2019, Sam popped out a ring from his pocket during his live performance show at the Whiskey a Go-Go. Without any delay, she accepted the proposal and wore the engagement ring.

“He talked to my mom beforehand and my pops. He got both’s approval. I found out afterward.”
Before their engagement, she and Sam had tried to run away and get married. In 2018, they had a shotgun wedding in Las Vegas, but her mother didn't give approval, and her inner circle hurried and stopped the wedding ceremony.
