Fans of EastEnders are well known about the character Cindy Williams in the series. The person, who gave life to the character, is non-other than American actress Mimi Keene. Career (Movies & TV Shows)
While attending Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts in London, Mimi Keene got a chance to act as Janey in the stage drama, Kin, at The Royal Court Theatre in 2010. At the time, she was just twelve years old. Again in 2010, she was also cast in a TV commercial for the popular fashion and homeware retail company, Matalan.
In 2013, Mimi made her TV debut by playing the role of Brandy May Lou in one episode of children’s comedy-drama series, Sadie J. In the same year, she acted the role of Jade Dawes in the TV film, Our Girl. She also debuted in the popular TV program, Children In Need.
Later, she has her breakthrough role in TV career when she was cast to portray the role of Cindy Williams in the famous soap opera EastEnders. As a series regular, she appeared in altogether 122 episodes from 2013 to 2015. With this role, she collected a lot of popularity across the UK.

Following the success, in 2017, she played the role of Megan in the short film, The Escape. Then in 2019, she made her feature film debut by performing the role of Claire in action thriller film Close. She also portrayed the role of Young Edith Tolkien in the biographical drama film, Tolkien.
In the same year (2019), Mimi’s second big role in the TV series came when she joined the main cast of comedy-drama web TV series, Sex Education.
