Born on July 16, 2002, in Florida, the actress’s parents are Eric and Michelle Shapiro. Shapiro grew up along with her elder sister Abigail Shapiro and identifies herself as a bisexual. She received her education from the Community Montessori School. 

At the age of 10, she moved to New York to pursue acting, began training professionally, and landed her first professional role in a Broadway musical.
