Jessica Lu was born on 18 April 1985, in Schaumburg, Illinois, as a first child to her parents. Jessica is of Chinese descent and carries an Asian-American ethnicity.
Jessica’s parents moved to the United States from China before she was conceived. Lu grew up in supportive family alongside her younger brother, Andy.
As close she is with her parents, she occasionally flaunts the love for them on social media accounts. Back on 27 September 2015, Jessica expressed her happiness at getting to see her dad twice in one year.
