Edi Patterson was born in Texas to father Denny Patterson and mother, Jeanne Patterson. Her mother worked as a teacher and her father worked as a plumber.
She has a sister named Joni Patterson Saunders who works as a teacher and closet writer.
She grew up in a very religious family. As a child, she used to visit an Episcopal church every Sunday with her family members and also attended vacation Bible school and Sunday school.
She earned her degree from the Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas where she took theatre as a major with an emphasis on acting.

Dan O’Connor is an actor, improviser, writer, director, and producer. He has completed his graduation from the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art in London.
He is the founder and Producing Artistic Director of the renowned theatre, Impro Theatre. He is also the co-founder of BATS Improv in San Francisco and LA Theatresports.
As an actor, Dan is known for movies like Menno’s Mind, Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa, Thanks, Kung Fu Panda 2, Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted and TV series like Ask Rita, Little Brain USA, Vegas, Raising Hope, and The Middle.
