She has a younger brother named Thomas Barbusca, who was born on 3 March 2003. Thomas began appearing in advertisements since he was a toddler.

The pair’s relationship was going smoothly even at the time when Ethan was charged with DUI of drugs and traffic violations in early November 2017. However, since March 2018, Brielle and Ethan haven't given any updates regarding their romantic relationship. So, it is still perplexing as to if the pair has already split or are they still dating secretly.


Brielle Barcusca began her acting career at a young age. When she was three years old, a talent manager saw her picture hanging on the wall of her uncle’s restaurant in New York City. Later, the talent manager contacted her mother, and eventually, her acting career started. 

Firstly, Brielle appeared in various advertisement campaigns, and in 2003, she made her TV debut by playing the role of a kidnapped girl in CBS’s comedy-drama series, Queens Supreme. Later, in 2004, she made her big-screen debut by appearing in a guest role in the science fiction horror thriller movie, The Forgotten. Then, her breakthrough role came in 2007 when she was cast as a seven-year-old girl in the USA Network’s TV mini-series, The Starter Wife. She portrayed her character in six episodes of the show. 

Following the success in Hollywood, in 2013, she appeared in several roles in TV series like The Mindy Project as a high school girlfriend, Trophy Wife as Lindsey, Defining Mel as Veronica, and in the TV movie, Twang as Lisa Vendetti.

The following year, she played a recurring character in ABC’s political thriller series, Scandal. The next year, she appeared in Fox’s crime procedural drama series, Bones. In 2016, she starred as Bonnie in Showtime’s comedy-drama, Shameless.  

Likewise, in 2017, she was cast as a cheerleader in the TV series, Young Sheldon, and in 2018, she performed the character of Cooper in the series, 9-1-1 and Shaha in the TV movie, Party Mom. Furthermore, in 2019, she appeared as Lisa Epstein in the film, Big Time Adolescence.
