Shaun Dooley was born on 29th March 1974 in Barnsley, Yorkshire, England, UK. 

He is the eldest son among the three children (the other two sisters) born to his father, Dennis Dooley, and mother, Ann Dooley. 

As of his education, Shaun attended the Arden School of Theatre in Manchester until 1995.


Shaun's sister, Stephanie Dooley, is an actress known for films like The Hunter’s Prayer, Dangerous Game, and TV series like Loose Women, Hyperdrive, and Creeped Out.
