Romany Malco got married to Taryn Dakha in 2008.

Talking about Taryn, she was a former Canadian ice-skater who later became a stuntwoman known as the body double of actress Jessica Alba.

She met Romany in 2007 on the set of The Love Guru.

In 2015, Romany was rumored to be dating his co-star, Meagan Good, but he has frequently refused such rumors and has claimed that he has been single since his divorce from his wife.

Furthermore, Romany faced widespread public speculations of him being gay since he has portrayed several gay characters.

But he welcomed his son, Brave, on February 8, 2021, which clarifies that he is not gay. His wife is still a mystery.

Romany Malco was born on 18th November 1968 as Romany Romanic Malco Jr., in Brooklyn, New York, USA. 

The 52-year-old Romany’s family is from the islands of Trinidad and Tobago. His mother was an ordained minister.

Though he has not talked about his father in detail, he revealed that his father had passed away on a Facebook post dated 16th June 2014.

When it comes to his childhood, Romany became fascinated by music and singing at the young age of just seven and began rapping.

When he was a teenager, he moved to Baytown, Texas, and attended Ross Sterling High School. Along with his studies, he was involved in his music career.

There, he formed the rap group R.M.G. and shortly after, Romany and his rap group moved to Los Angeles to advance in their career.

In Los Angeles, the group signed a deal with Virgin Records in 1991. Eventually, the group’s name was changed to College Boyz as they began releasing several hit albums.

Their first big hit, Victim of the Ghetto, from their debut album, Radio Fusion Radio, released in April 1992, became #2 on the rap charts. 

While working as a music producer on The Pest in 1997, he was encouraged to pursue a career in acting by actor John Leguizamo.

Following his idea, Romany began appearing in several TV shows and films. 

In 2001, Romany performed in the movie, Too Legit: The MC Hammer Story and the TV series Miss Watch in 2003.

In 2005, he played his breakthrough role as Jay in the film, The 40-Year-Old Virgin, which encouraged him to further action. 

By now, Romany, standing at the height of 5 feet and 8 inches (1.73 meters), has been credited for several hit movies and TV series.
