Reid Scott is an American actor best known for his roles in various movies and TV shows. He is known for playing the role of Deputy Director of Communications, Dan Egan in the American political satire TV show, Veep. He appeared in the show as a major character in 65 episodes from 2012 to 2019. For his performance in the show, he has also won the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series along with other cast members.
Another breakthrough role of Reid is next seen in the TV series, My Boys playing the role of Brenden Dorff form 2006 to 2010.

He attended an elementary school in the Shenendehowa district and went to LaSalle Institute in Troy, New York where he studied from grades 7 to 11. For his senior year, he returned to Shenendehowa and completed his senior year from Shenendehowa High School in Clifton Park, New York.
After completing high school, he went to Syracuse University and graduated in 2000 becoming the first undergraduate to receive a combined Directing degree from the Theatre and Film schools.

Reid was introduced to Elspeth initially by some of his friends who were also friends to her at the University of Southern California. After becoming pen pals for some months, Elspeth called Reid and they met at the screening of a short film written, starred in and produced by her.
From their first encounter, they fell in love and began dating. After a couple of years together, the couple was engaged in Palm Springs in 2013.

Finally, on 21st June 2014, the couple tied the knot in a beautiful wedding ceremony organized at Maguire Gardens in Downtown Los Angeles.
