As a kid, he was physically very and played sports such as baseball and soccer. By the age of 12, he had already starred in the film The Treasure, which did not get released in theatres whatsoever, but was distributed in videos. 

Further, Weibarth continued playing soccer in high school and was a part of the California State Olympic Development soccer team. He enrolled at the University of California Santa Barbara in communication major and a sports management minor, and he even got in UCSB open soccer tryouts.
