Jake Short was born on 30 May 1997 in the Indiana, United States to parents, James Kramer Short and Kimberly Kennan Hankins Short. Jake was raised with his siblings, brother AJ, and his two sisters, Jessilyn and Gillian.
During school days Jake was a keen soccer player, a gymnast, guitarist and a martial artist, seeing the wide range of talent his parents and teachers pushed him to pursue his acting career.
At the age of 10, Jake debuted in the film The Anna Nicole Smith in 2007. Although his first major role was Fletcher Quimby, in Disney Channel’s comedy series, A.N.T Farm, and as Nose Noseworthy in 2009. He also plays Oliver on the series, Mighty Med which made him famous among the audience and had acted in numerous commercials.
Jake is the winner of Kids’ Choice Award for Favorite TV Actor in 2009, and Young Artist for Best Performance in a Young Ensemble cast in 2012. He was also nominated in Lab Rats: Elite Force for Oliver in 2016. Moreover, he has a desire to star in ‘The Big Bang Theory,’ which Jake mentioned as his favorite sitcom when he was a kid.
