American actor Isiah was in a long-term relationship with actress Wilma Mondi, who has been his partner for fifteen years.

Isiah has portrayed the role of a married professor in many movies and has received tremendous appreciation for this role. However, he never let media to know about his married life. Mostly familiar as writer and actor, Isiah was born in the year 1954 in South Bend, USA and celebrates his birthday on the 13th of September every year. He holds American nationality and belongs to Afro-American ethnicity.

Isiah, who stands at the height of 6’ft tall, grew up as the fifth of tenth children to a steel mill worker father. 

Isiah believed in the power of education and thus, attended Southwest State University in 1976. With an interest to do something in the field of acting, he studied drama at American Conservatory Theater. 

Isiah entered the acting realm by chance, as he initially planned to become a footballer and even went to University on a football scholarship. As things didn’t go as planned, he had to give up on his dreams after getting some serious injuries. He was destined to become an actor we must say!

Whitlock has made his appearances on various television series including The Good Wife, Louie, Gotham, The Carmichael Show, and Elementary and recently appeared as the sheriff in the 2016 remake of the 1977 film of Pete's Dragon.
