Quick Information

Yes, it is true that going through a rough childhood is pretty much harsh and depressing. But, on the brighter side, it makes you strong from the within and prepares you to tackle the problems life throws at you. Similar is the case with Sade Baderinwa who suffered a lot when her parents abandoned her at her young age. However, this did not stop her from marking her identity in the world and becoming one of the successful anchors.

Sade is currently working as an anchor at New York’s WABC channel 7 and co-anchor at Eyewitness News. She joined the news channel in 2003 after having basic experience about anchoring at WBAL-TV back for three years in her hometown, Maryland. Apart from journalism, she has as well contributed as an actress in “Head of state” in 2003. Sade earns a hefty salary around $1 million and has a net worth of $5 million.

Affair with Former Maryland Governor, Martin O’Malley!

Sade usually keeps her personal matter just to herself and lives a low-key life when it comes to her love relationships. She has not yet opened up about boyfriend or husband. However, there are rumors about her affair with Martin O’Malley who is the former governor of Maryland.

It was rumored that Martin despite being married to a judge, Catherine Curran O’Malley and a father of four children was indulged with the anchor for quite some time. And well having an extramarital affair is not all to this rumor, it further states that Sade was pregnant with his child and when the news hit the headline, she was forced out from Maryland with her unborn child and was shipped off to New York.

As if being kicked out from New York was not enough, Sade again had to go through hardship when she yet again made it to every news channel after being hit by a car on 23 July 2004. It is believed that the hit was allegedly set up by Catherine.

In one of her interview with WBAL-TV on 24th February 2005, she mentioned that she at the last moment saw a car come out of nowhere, and hit her. Sade took a bed rest for almost five months and joined back the Eyewitness news 13 December 2004. She further added:

“I had a fracture of the arm. I had my knee completely rebuilt and I had some other injuries that I don't want to go into, it was a serious accident -- life-altering, I would say.”

After returning to full fitness, she carried on with her career but had a halt in October 2017 when she suffered from concussion complication and stayed away from the reporting for three long months.
