Erin Como [Fox 5] Wiki: Facts On Age, Dating Life, Salary

Erin Como was excited to have been promoted to weekend morning anchor at Fox 5 on the 12th of September 2019.

While her audiences were finally assured getting to know that she would still be doing her traffic anchoring three days a week, also hosting her very popular segment ‘Cooking With Como’ on Good Day DC.

This was her exact words, about talking on a new role at WTTG owned Fox 5-

"I am thrilled to take on this new role at WTTG Fox 5. I’m so happy to be a member of such a talented news team, and I’m honored to get the chance to grow professionally in such an incredible city."

It has been more than four years since her joining the team in FOX 5.

The experiences of working in Nashville and Philadelphia sure made everything a lot easier on her.

Born on the 31st of January 1984, she grew up in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.

Erin loves news-telling and more than that she loves traveling, getting to explore people and places.

And, thanks to the opportunity of hosting a seasonal travel show for Philly.Com, back in the days, she was able to enjoy all the summer fun in South Jersey, especially the food and outdoor activities.

She also presented the travel series- Road Trippin, traversing all the hottest vacation destinations around the Mid-State including the best restaurants, hotels, activities, and spas; indeed a tough job!

Dating Boyfriend?

Erin is more than happy to be dating her workplace buddy, Chris Smith. While Erin works in front of the camera, her beau, on the other hand, works all behind the scenes.

It all started back in March 2015, when Erin came in for the interview for FOX 5 and Chris had been on a vacation for a week.

He just came to work on Monday that he had off just to get caught up with what he had missed and what he needed to know for the next day.

It was then that they introduced one another, and as Chris recalled- "as soon as I saw her it was love at first sight."

And the funny thing is Chris already had a girlfriend and while Erin was still sharing her flat with her ex-fiance.

However, what matters now is that they were meant to end up together, and Erin still shares a friendly equation with her ex.

And last they talked on a podcast, Erin and Chris were looking forward to moving in together.

At this rate, someday they might just surprise everyone, about the news of them getting married.

Salary

Erin has not yet revealed, the paycheque figures she earns as a part of her regular salary and allowances.

Note: As per the 'Simply Hired' reported in 2014, the news anchor at Fox earned an average salary of $74K.
