American entrepreneur Tom Sosnoff has received fame and recognition with his sharp skills as a trader and financial expert. He used his entrepreneurship knowledge for the online business and developed a software to support individual options trading.
Tom initiated his career in the early 1980s as a lead market maker for the Sosnoff Sheridan group. As he believed that software tools could easily fulfill the needs of investors in trading, he developed the software, Thinkorswim in 1999.
After a decade, Tom sold the software for $750 million after and earned a personal income of $84 million. Besides, he created a new financial network called tastytrade with $20 million as capital.
Accumulating many years of experience, Tom founded Dough Inc. and eventually added the tastytrade as well. As a leading entrepreneur, Tom was a co-winner of the EY Entrepreneurship of the year Midwest Award in 2014.

Tom was born on 6 March 1957 and raised by a well-to-do family.
His mother was an independent creative woman, who ran an art school for girls whereas his dad was an attorney and highly intellectual. At an early age, Tom did not have any idea of what he was going to do with his life.
