Democratic strategist Joe Trippi started his political career by working with former US Senator Edward M. Kennedy. During the mid-’70s, he served as deputy campaign manager for Los Angeles' 38th Mayor Tom Bradley. During Tom's gubernatorial campaign, Joe installed one of the first in-house computers for a political campaign, which Joe used for fundraising and targeting.

Later, he became a senior strategist on Doug Jones’ historic victory in Alabama. Joe also helped and wrote the ads to build the campaign strategy. He made significant use of the online platform to organize the grassroots movement in presidential politics.

Aside from his contributions to the political field, Joe also has roles in several media and broadcast networks. He first started as a contributor on MSNBC and political analyst for CBS.

And on 1 January 2011, Joe started to serve as a contributor on Fox News. After seven long years of contributing to Fox News, Joe announced his departure from the network on 24 December 2017 on his Twitter.

Not long after Joe left Fox, primetime edition of The Lead with Jake Tapper announced that he would be joining CNN. And in January 2018, Joe started to contribute as a political commentator on CNN.

As a Democratic Strategist and a CNN Contributor, there's no doubt that Joe adds millions to his net worth.

Cancer

Joe previously worked for former Senator John Edwards. Around 2008 John's wife Elizabeth Edwards recruited Joe to work with her husband, John. Sadly Elizabeth died at the age of 61 due to cancer. Before that, she lost her son in an accident and her husband to another woman. 

After the death of Elizabeth Edwards, Joe recalled her driving spirit, as he said that she was out to live every single of her remaining days. He confessed how it was a huge lesson that her life taught him.

In addition to his political work, Joe worked with leading corporations and organizations like the American Cancer Society.

Born on 10 June 1956 in California, Joseph Paul Trippi holds American nationality according to his biography. His father owned a family shop, and he was supposed to run his family business. When he was three years of age, his parents split and his mother Peggy took him and his baby sister to Los Angeles. Joe, age 62, chose another field in his career, which created more distance with his father.

Joe received education at Moreau Catholic High school. For further studies, he attended San Jose State University.

Married, Wife

Regarding his love life, Joe who stands at a tall height is a married man. He first met his wife Kathleen Lash in the late 1990s’ at the 20-acre waterfront farm near St. Michaels. It was basically 'love at first sight.' Joe got married to his wife in 1997 in a private wedding ceremony. He has relished his married life for 22 years without having extramarital affairs. The duo has stayed loyal to each other throughout their lives.

Joe is not only a loving husband but also a proud father of three children, James Ellis Trippi, Christine Marie Trippi, and Ted Casey Trippi. He is enjoying every moment with his family. Despite his busy schedule, he never misses a chance to spend time with his family.
