Weather Channel Jennifer Delgado Wiki, Married, Cancer

Jennifer Delgado is one of the best meteorologists in the nation, who is known for her work with The Weather Channel.

Apart from being career oriented, she is a very strong lady and a cancer survivor. Jennifer had a long battle with brain cancer, that she won, thankfully. The meteorologist wasted no time to return to the industry to flourish her career like a lady boss!

Jennifer Delgado's Work With The Weather Channel

Jennifer Delgado began her career in the industry with her first job in the KPLR in St. Louis, Missouri, where she worked as a fill-in weather anchor. Then, she worked in many different places like KRCG in Jefferson City, Missouri and WTVR in Richmond, Virginia.

It wasn't long before Jennifer landed on CNN's The Weather Channel in 2008 and reached the height of her career. She was well appreciated for her job and loved by the people in Atlanta, but some of her remarks have gained a lot of criticisms as well.

For example, in 2016, while forecasting weather around the Caribbean Island of Hispaniola, Jennifer talked about deforestation in the area, and remarked that "Hispanic children ate trees."

Many people all around the world were offended by the statement, and all the social media were flooding with the people wanting her fired.

Jennifer did not apologize and was obstinate that her speech was a fact, but later The Weather Channel apologized for her remark and said that it was not her intention to offend anyone.

The incident did not lead Jennifer to get fired as she continued her work with The Weather Channel until she had to resign herself because of her sickness. She was diagnosed with brain cancer in January 2017, which forced to leave her job.

She surely has amassed herself a hefty net worth because the average salary of journalists at CNN is $55K per year.

Jennifer Delgado Married?

Many people are curious about Jennifer's love life, but she has managed not to spill the beans pretty well. She does not talk about her relationships in social media or interviews.

However, back in 2014, Jennifer once talked about saying goodbye to her hiking boyfriend, Eric in a Twitter post. She never posted pictures with Eric nor spoke about him in her other posts, so not much was revealed.

About Jennifer's current relationship status, she is assumed to be single. In fact, in 2017, she posted the pictures of her three dogs on Valentine's day.
