Former All-Ireland winning Camogie captain Anna Geary is a broadcaster, athlete, performance and lifestyle coach, and columnist. She has won over 20 All-Ireland medals during her illustrious sporting career.
Later, after gaining extensive knowledge in the sporting field, at the age of 27, she announced her retirement from inter-country camogie.
Then, she moved into the field of journalism to pursue her higher career. She joined RTE One, the leading television channel of Irish state-owned broadcaster, Raidio Teilifis Eireann.
While working there, she worked as a presenter of the historical documentary, Fire in the Blood about Michael Cusack, founder of the Gaelic Athletic Association. She also mentored for Operation Transformation Its Your Move campaign.
After a year, alongside RTE, she also began working at Sky Sports as a sports athlete mentor. She also hosted the weekly sports segment on TV3's The Seven O'Clock Show alongside an Irish broadcaster Martin King and an Irish radio presenter Lucy Kennedy.
Soon after, she was announced as the pitch-side presenter of Sport's Match Night Live.
Besides flaunting her talent in the field of journalism and sports field, she equally showed her ability in the dance field. In 2018, she took part in Dancing With the Stars alongside her partner Kai Widdrington.
