Karl Glusman was born on 3rd January 1998 in The Bronx, New York with the birth name Karl Lewis Gulsman. He grew up outside of Portland, Oregon, where his parents moved when he was just six months old. 

Karl’s mother, Elaine Gulsman, was Irish-Catholic, whereas, his father, Steven Gulsman, was German-Jew. The couple got divorced shortly after moving to Portland.

After his parents separated, Karl began to live in Lake Oswego with his mother and sister, Liz Gulsman. 

There, he attended Oswego High School. After graduation from high school, he went to Portland State University. It was there where his interest in acting obsessed him. So, studying only for one and a half years, he dropped out of the university and went to Portland Actors Conservatory. 

After that, Karl moved to New York and studied acting at William Esper Studio and also began his acting career from there.

The couple exchanged their vows in a romantic wedding ceremony organized at Zoe's father’s home in Paris on 29th June 2019.

However, the couple was secretly married in early 2019.

But they decided to celebrate the occasion publicly among their family, friends, and well-wishers and became the bride and groom again.

As of their love story, the couple first met in 2016 at a bar through some of their mutual friends. Though Karl was nervous at first, he talked to her at an afterparty with friends. Very soon after their first met, the two began dating.
